91 posts in this topic

I got back from my safe box and no Tec 38 i must have traded it for the motorcycle like the wife said. I was not thinking right at that time.

so what vehicle will you take for that AC 13?

This would do it. Dont think it will be worth more in 10 years.

hm

this for the Tec 27, right?

You said Action 13 :o

I do like the brighter palette on action 7, but I don't see any reason for a huge price difference? (shrug)

I agree, but the market has spoken.

Last TEC 29 CGC 1.0 OW/W sold on CC for 11k.

The last comparable AC7 sale is the 1.8 with brittle pages for $50k.

Not apples to apples in terms of grade/PQ, but still indicative of a substantial price disparity.

+1

Yes, even though the 'Tec 29 is a highly in-demand book, it seems to be extremely undervalued in today's marketplace, especially considering that Batman is much more sought after by collectors as compared to Superman. ???

Action 1 and Tec 27 are both good covers.

Action 7 is a ok cover nothing great. Tec 31 way better.

Action 10 in the air with a plane that beats Tec 29 cover

Action 13 stopping a train beats Tec 33 cover.

Action 15 Sub cover and Tec 35 both ok.

Action 19 Su_ks Tec 36 not that great.

Action 20 blows Tec 37 away

So we have Actions at 3 that are better and Tecs at 1.

This is going to be fun to read as the day goes by.

I think the Tec #35 cover is a little bit more than just "ok." :baiting:

I give you that. I have a copy of Action 15 8.5 unrestored and i would take a Tec 35 over it for sure.

Yes, I would definitely take the 'Tec 35 over the Action 15 any day of the week without even giving it a second thought. :cloud9:

Metropolis had this book at the recent convention in NY. They were asking 60K.

As for FMV, who knows. Guide is 18K in G, but we all know guide is just a guide and there are tons of books that I would love to get my hands on at twice guide and can't touch them.
