A couple of years ago I came across a nice one of these.  Referred to a price guide to check the value, and ubdrf notes it stated "1st scrooge mcduck".  I figured 40 bucks for uncle scrooges 1st appearance was a good deal and nabbed it. 😄

That’s Scrooge's 1st appearance in WDCS not overall, his real 1st is in Four Color 178.🤓

Some good duck stuff on Heritage this weekend. Anybody got their eye on anything? I really like that bronze Donald from FC 199 but it’s gonna be a pain to ship that thing to Canada!

There's been a consistent run of great duck material every week for some time now. I suspect someone or someones are selling off their collection(s) and are doing well at it to boot! I've got a grail pickup from two Sundays ago arriving this week. Can't wait to post!!

I was referring to the Animation auction. There’s not much in the way of comics but more art and memorabilia.

Current bid price on the "Sheriff of Bullet Valley" bronze is low right now.

There were several nice bronze statues offered at the nineties Disneyana conventions.  I grabbed this picture off the web, but own one still in the box.  This bronze is entitled "Sport of Tycoons."

I've wanted this bronze for a long time. Unfortunately, they always seem to surface when I have no "big" money available.

What do these go for?

Prices are all over the map but I've never seen one go for less than $1700 and Heritage sold one in May for $5640.

WOW! Didn't know they were that high. I assume these are limited editions.

100 Scrooge “Sport of Tycoons” and 200 Donald “Sheriff of Bullet Valley”.  There were also several Artist’s Proofs.  The bronze statues are very big and heavy.  I bought mine way before I joined the forums.  Genuine bronze statues are very expensive and time consuming to produce, unlike the resin statues commonly seen.  I believe original retail at the Disneyana convention was $1800.  I also have a bronze bust of Doc Savage produced by Bob Chapman of Graphitti Designs.  Always wanted the Man of Bronze in Bronze.
