Great prices ... Just flying off the wall ....

Does he have any keys there? Af15's spidey 1's avengers 1's? If not, he is smart. Those books cost him cents and by the look of those prices, he aint going to retire even if he sells off all of them at once. To the owner, its probably better to keep those books than to sell them. It does have at least 1 guy taking the time to drive there, going in to look at them and take pictures. If he doesnt have any keys, af15's and such, its still pretty smart. From the looks of it, he doesnt make any money selling these books so its just eye candy.

 

+1 My guess is that he mostly sells new issues. Putting these prices on these relatively new comics has people buying the new comics thinking they will make a killing when those become $100 comics. Sells more new comics. Shrewd businessman.

 

+2 Black Friday IS coming up, perhaps he's planning on the whole: I'll mark these up in order to have a "70% off sale" or something?? (shrug) I'd write 50% off, but that would still make all of those books too high.

 

Oh, and I'll guess $1100 on the Watchman set. Buy 11 at $100 and get the 12th free.

Tons of new issues ... and guys playing some card game Magik or some mess....couple times I went in they had tables set up playing some card game... lots of merch and Funkos of course...
