Though the 9.8 premium seems to be getting more extreme on the higher end books.

As hard as it is to grade in 9.8 in the first place... probably won't see many more, right?  I also find it odd that this comic barely beat out UF4 variant when you look at the census numbers; however, the content really seems to matter more on UF4.  I never would have thought that UF4 variant would reach the numbers it has (same for the ASM 667 variant).

Last time I looked there were about 50 or so graded copies of this variant, with only one copy sitting as a 9.9 on top of the pile, and this is it!

Lol. I have not. It’s still in my “to do” pile. The past few days I’ve actually been toying with the notion of moving it for the right price. I don’t need to and god knows I don’t want to, but I’m looking at clearing up some funds to chuck into an investment that will most likely allow me to repurchase a copy in the not too distant future plus some. Just toying though. If I were to test the water on this, what method would you suggest?  Lol

It has been the modern king for years, but there's also an Italian version of the cover that was used to commemorate spider-man's 25th anniversary of publication in Italy.  There is a litho of the cover as well.
