Mr Sneeze
I always enjoy peeking in on the silver age appreciation thread but there are lots of great FFs to follow in the bronze age... So bring them out. steveinthecity, Microchip and Steviehuv66

fiendish
Cool thread, bro! Someone please post an FF 159. That classic Inhumans cover has got to be heating up lately! I had a Mead vinyl three-ring-binder in junior high school with that cover reprinted on it. steveinthecity
Mr Sneeze
That's a lovely 150 Barton, thanks for posting! Here's a 159 as requested. Definitely one of the iconic FF bronze age covers IMHO. ChrispyC66, MGsimba77 and Steviehuv66
Mr Sneeze
The Giant-Size were such great additions to the story line. Morganmi
Ken Aldred
As a Quasar fan, this is an interesting tie-in story which features the original Marvel Boy... Microchip, Morganmi and Steviehuv66
Jeffro.
I'm putting together a VG to fine or so reader run of bronze age FF. I'll hook it up with my copper Byrne OO run and then read the whole damn thing

Engr62
The first comic I purchased as a kid was FF 149 (from my local 7-11). So, I grew up in the bronze age of FF comics. I'm trying to put together a CGC run of FF 140-200. Morganmi

StuporMan
Love these covers! Underrated IMHO, especially 200+. Also great tribute covers in there too, loooong before it was overused in today's variant market. My sole contribution: Morganmi

Mr Sneeze
Great idea for a thread, what are the issue ranges? I was admiring your 123 in the other thread. Not often you get the Silver Surfer and Richard Nixon on the same cover. Beautiful books! While opinions may defer, I figure a good starting place for the FF bronze age to be 103 and take it up to the Byrne run, maybe 231?

Mr Sneeze
I'm putting together a VG to fine or so reader run of bronze age FF. I'll hook it up with my copper Byrne OO run and then read the whole damn thing A few years back I reread 1-295 straight through. I really enjoyed the bronze age stuff between Lee/Kirby and Byrne much more than I remembered as a kid. Maybe not as consistent given the constant turn around but great story arcs and art nonetheless. I read it in Masterworks, Essentials and trades but a good part of it was some readers and that is definitely the way to go. Seeing the ads, bullpen and letter pages are a big part of the fun.
