You guys have WAY too much cool stuff on the West Coast...... they should raise the tax rate out there to provide subsidies to the rest of us who have to trudge through the doldrums of a normal existence :taptaptap: GOD BLESS....

Here are a few pictures to share. Next time around we will give a more advanced notification of a gathering so folks can plan accordingly. Great turnout for the short notice and some very impressive books were brought out for show and tell, so sorry I cannot show pictures of everything. There has to be some mystery after all.

Some Centaur Books

One of the Amazing Man #6s' is a cover only. That coverless book is an Amazing Man #22. There are a few Cheslers' off to the side there.

Great Pics. Fun meeting you guys and geeking out on such great books all in one location. I believe all of us brought out such great comics. Also, it was very cool seeing the state-of-the-art new CGC holder. I believe I'll send in a book or two to CGC so I can have those holders as well.

Good job, Phil, of hosting the event. You have a lovely wife, great pets (especially your parrott) and great comics.

Steve

That Wonder 2 is nice. Restored?

Yes, long ago via Brian Ramey (sp?). I purchased the book after the work had been done so I don't know if it was really warranted. Can't be too picky on books like that one.

Really enjoyed the afternoon - it was so cool that we all brought books from different companies and different eras (1936 - 1970's), a real smorgasbord of comics!

Our host had doubles and triples on a handful of awesome issues, demonstrating his great eye for books.

We had a family of Amazing-Man 6's... too bad I didn't bring my Larson copy, too!

Several interesting deals were made (and some not made!) - thanks to Phil for trading me one of his Hit 11's (low-grade, but I've never owned one).

All-in-all, a very fun geekfest...
