Look at the Superman #39 he has for sale. VG? Check out the pic of the spine. :o

What spine?

oh wait - there is still some left.....

if you do a search on the seller - like 900+ listings - only 4 sold in the last 3 months???

ebay grading at its finest - I may not be the strongest grader out there - but wow. This be beyond loose for the samples I have looked at. This falls into the category of the "PGX" 6.0 (posted in grading forum) bad.

I guess they are just hoping to hit a sucker every so often on a big book????

soooooooo glad none of my listings have ended up here - but at least I would fix them if something like this was pointed out to me.

One of the hard to find ARVELS. And it's even autographed on the back cover too! :o

I love Jack Kirby's art on this cover and the story is one of their best.

Are the initials "B.D." as in Bad Deal, or "B.O." as in This Stinks?

I've recently regraded, upgraded the bags & boards where necessary and repriced approx 1200 SA books for sale on ebay. I had to check what my 127's looked like after this.

Coincidentally, I too, had both copies graded as 8.5's. Based on this I may have to change them to at least Ebay 9.4's or 9.6's... :kidaround:

His lack of sales isn't a surprise but the number of views per hour seems impressive.

Is this the new norm; list an overgraded book at an inflated price with a "make an offer"??

Good lord, yes. Although these days many eBay sellers don't bother to grade anything, telling the buyer to work everything out from the pictures. And all items are sold "as is". I love that.

I move slowly.

Have never sold a book on ebay yet.

Sold some stuff (non comic related) for relatives.

Have purchased a ton of goods over the past 16 years or so.

The plan is to open a "store" and sell some bigger ticket items first to get my feet wet. I may start with my slabs, so as to eliminate grading issues. And I'll probably run a bunch through here, as well.

But first I'm finally off to see B v S tonight...
