Free Comic Book Day this Saturday!

It's back again. I always enjoy hitting up a couple of stores to take advantage of sales and mingle with my fellow geeks. What looks good to pick up? I always get the Bongo/Simpsons issue and the Overstreet issue. Any suggestions on anything else I should try and grab?

To me there are a lot of appealing comics. Last year, I didn't see anything I wanted. This year; Tick, Korra, Rom, Suicide Squad, Bruce Lee, Lady Mechanica...et al.

The prevue of the Phantom issue looks real interesting as it goes right back to his origin.

 

Looks like it is the 80th anniversary of the Phantom. Do they even have a current ongoing comic book series featuring the Phantom.

Hermes Press who are putting out the FCBD reprint book also publish a monthly Phantom comic written by Peter David.
