My lone copy of a Red Ryder comic, thus far. Anyone else have any Red Ryder's to share?

Sad to say, I only have a few Red Ryders (all later issues). This is the start of the painted cover run (#119).

Also, here are the back covers to Lone Ranger #18 and 26 (I posted the fronts earlier in the thread).

Nice cover, except for the hair color Red Ryder looks somewhat like John Wayne. GCD doesn't list the cover artist. Is it given in the book?

Someone did a great job on the back covers of those Lone Rangers

where they have depicted famous indian chief's.

Nothing inside the book on the cover artist for Red Ryder #119.

I also agree that the Indian back covers on Lone Ranger are really nice. They started out with famous indians like Crazy Horse and Chief Joseph then switched to "Warrior 1", "Warrior 2", etc...

This one I just received and I am very pleased with. Though it's about a fictional western star, this last issue is special in that it contains an 18-pager by Heath. 18 pages of Heath on a western feature :cloud9:

:o Sounds very cool! It's definitely unusual to have such a long story.

Picked this up over the weekend at an estate sale for $2.50

You were told right. I'm jealous!

:o

I've never been a big fan of the painted Dells, but this one is changing my mind. I can't stop looking at it. Its just gorgeous in a Mylar.

And i love that Jet Aces. Wanna trade? :)

Im plumb outta Lone Ranger, Hopalong, and Red Ryder. On to Roy Rogers.

Nice copy, but Roy Rogers?!

:o

I have a few more Roy's & then Gene Autrey. :makepoint:lol

I've never read a Roy Rogers book but I liked the few Gene Autry's (mid 1940's) I read.
