Anyone know the Gerber rating for this great rare comic ?

 

it's a gerber 7

 

Relatively speaking - because Gerber underestimated the prevalence of most books - I think Gerber was off on this one. It's rarer than many books that are listed as 8s and 9s. Only 13 have been graded universal by CGC and only 30 total.

i believe it to be accurately detailed by Gerber as a 7...21-50 copies

Board member Shrunkenhead had an interesting thread a couple of years ago about his adventures obtaining a copy. Involved a bidding war at an estate sale at which, iirc, a couple of the competing bidders were soused.
