It still needs some work but I think it's a good start on a high grade set. I will eventually get a 9.6 ASM 129 and upgrade to 9.8 on the ASM 135 and Giant sized Spider-man 4.

I think you have a wonderful set of high grade books.

 

But I do have to ask why do you feel you need to upgrade from a 9.6 to a 9.8?

 

 

I would have bought them in 9.8 at the time but they didn't have white pages. When the 9.8's with white pages where up for bid I didn't have the $$$.

Yep, you can ask that question of anyone looking to upgrade....something I use to do, on as recurring basis as I could and while I still do to some extend I am not as likely to upgrade to 9.6's as I once was (collecting silver age DDs)....in part because I am not rolling in cash and secondly, this is not an original thought on my part, I read it here on the boards, once you start getting the higher grades, if you ever need to sell for any reason, you've narrowed your target market\potential buyers. For whatever reason and I "ain't" a complete goof, I never even thought about it. I guess its kinda like being blinded by love......

 

That is an excellent point. That's one of the reasons why I probably will never have an ASM 129 in 9.8. If I had to dump it, unless I found the right buyer I would loose $$$. But never say never, HAHAHA.

Awesome books! I'm still hoping to get a lot of whats in that picture. Unfortunately I didn't get them a couple years ago. I also like the Original Sin 4 Dell'Otto and Deadpool 55. The newer 2014 and 2016 1:50, 1:25 variants are pretty nice also.
