Chilling Tales of Horror #2 1969 Stanley Publications

 

Famous Mr. Mystery cover reprint. Has lots of wild 1950's pre-code horror reprints.

 

A very pretty, clean, bright, glossy complete copy. Has a few light indents and bends but nothing that breaks color. Back cover has a small 1" lower corner crease. No pieces missing, tears or major creases. Book and centerfold bound securely to covers. Interior pages are white.

Great GGA cover of hot girls with a lucky tied up guy!

 

Beautiful, un-read copy. Perfect spine that is un-cracked and tight. No creases or tears. Supple interior paper. PB's just rarely come nicer!

Batman #50 Dec-Jan 1948 DC Publications

 

Classic Two Face cover/story!

 

A nice, solid, clean complete copy. Has a slight spine roll and lots of wrinkles on cover. Lower 2" spine split. Two centerfolds are detached and appear to be married. Paper color matches perfectly. Cover still well attached to book. Interior pages slightly yellowed but supple and fresh. A nice bargian copy of a classic Batman book.

Blue Bolt V9#5 Oct 1948 Novelty Press

 

Classic "Fish in the Face" cover and interior story! Ted Williams baseball story. Cool Edison Bell as Uncle Sam story.

 

A clean, tight, bright complete copy. Has a tiny chip out of top right corner. Has a few small, light lower right corner creases that do not break color. a few very small edge tears. Tear at bottom is about 1/4" long and goes into book a few pages. Nothing major. A few light wrinkles. Book and centerfold bound well to covers. Interior paper is off white and fresh. Underrated book.

Buck Rogers late 1940's "Satellite Pioneers" Metal Tab Pin.

 

2" round with original tab which is almost always broken off. Nice color and no scratches or paint missing. No rust either. A very nice example for your space collection.

OK, back from a short break.

 

Now here is something you will never see again. It is a one of a kind.

 

Old bound volume of "Children's Comics".

 

This 2" thick volume contains 17 old humor comics (if I counted right). Many publishers are here including Disney Dell one shots, HaHa, CooCoo, Giggle, Peter Rabbit, Animal Antics, Animal comics, Fawcett Funny Animals and more.

 

All bound complete with front and back covers. Condition is pretty rough. All books are neatly cut up from bottom about 2" or so with sicissors. There are tears, small pieces missing on some. One DC has only about 1/2 front cover. All appear to be complete and readable though.

 

Nothing to write home about condition wise, but VERY cool none the less. A fun item to have and one of a kind. Hard to find these old bound volumes.

Bright, clean and complete. Covers are split and detached. Some minor chipping, creases and tears. Interior paper is yellowed but supple. Displays well "in the bag" Decent reader.

Annother issue of this cool and hot title. Cool zombies, skeleton cover by Whitman. very nice interior art and stories.

 

A flat, bright, clean complete copy. Has a couple small chips out of spine and upper right corner. A few small, light water spots inside covers. Some small, minor edge tears and creases. Nothing serious. Back cover has a couple bends and creases. Worst is 2" at bottom corner. Book and centerfold are well attached. Interior paper is yellowed but supple with no damage. Buy these when you can...I just sold a #2 today within seconds of posting it.

Tom Mix 1940's Safety Poster.

 

17" x 22" Pictures Tom and Tony explaining how to be safe kids. Probably a posted in schools and not available to the public.

 

Excellent, bright, un-used condition. Folded in quarters as sent out. Paper is white and looks like it was printed yesterday. Would look great framed. Years ago I found 5 of these and this is the last one I have.
