BEHOLD!!! My lowly coverless AIT # 7, I think it's the only coverless book in my collection. Wouldn't even have bothered, but the price was right and since there is Wolverton art, I took a shot.

Question: anybody have this and willing to make a two-sided color copy for me? (expenses paid, of course) (shrug)

I think the title of this first story is where they(Marvel) got the idea to ever call a comic book title "Giant Size Man Thing". I may be wrong.

I do believe it's the first time "Where Monsters Dwell" is used! :headbang:

Hey! Hey! Hey! Here's a "Pat K." copy (signed 3 times, no less!)!!!

Bought this (AIT # 8 ) directly from her & saved the letter she included in her packing which tells how she got this right off the newstands. Probably one of my favorite books in my whole collection because of that! :cloud9:

You need to post that letter! :sumo:

Maybe someday. I'm sure at the end of the day it's no big deal, but for the present time I feel like it was just one of those personal things that I'd like to keep to myself. Does that make any sense? (shrug)

That's fine Keith, I just thought it would be cool to see some reflection from an OO about how they felt about these books when they were current.

I understand your feelings though. :foryou:

Hi all - I hope this isn't out of place, but I am going to be selling a few of my dad's books here and there and I have gotten some good information and support from guys in this thread in particular over the last couple of years. I am not trying to market the books in this thread but I know that some of the books are wanted by PCH fellas and I would like to give y'all first crack at them but don't really know the etiquette (this whole post may be in bad taste for all I know). Anyhow, maybe just a reminder to check the "for-sale" thread or PM me if you can remember a book I posted that you were interested in. I am not guaranteeing a great deal for anyone, but perhaps a right of first refusal. Sorry if this is an inappropriate post.

Dan
