that was fun. over the weekend I read a story (13 pages) by one of my Faves- William Hope Hodgson- that centers around a marvelous Lovecraftian phrase that was also some of the last words of Jesus Christ. To see how this is managed wonderfully and reverently follow the link to etext of

ps- since on one level the story (which appeared posthumously) is about explosives and people getting blown up- it is a cruel irony that Hodgson was blown to bits on a battlefield in WWI.
