I've always loved this Al Feldstein cover.

 

 

I don't think that is by Feldstein. He did the "Creekmore Curse" but Edvard Moritz did the cover.

The GCD states cover inks done by Edvard Moritz but has pencil credits as ?.

Kinda has that Feldstein look, not sure myself.

Good to know, Scrooge! Thanks for digging up the link Dr. Love! I can't comment on how difficult that book is or not, but I can say I don't have it.

 

Rusty staples don't bug me IF they're not "lumpy" and haven't stained the paper around them. i.e., surface-rusty. Of course it's better if they aren't, but it's more OK on a '50s PCH than it would be a silver age book.

 

And sadly, I don't have any purple covers imaged right now! But I do have some to be done.
