That's some rapid-fire posting! I have the 20, 21 and 24 in similar shape.

So help me, I actually enjoy those ACG's for reading - I know that's not cool among some pre-code crowds!

Pah and p'shaw! Was ACG big on gore and violence? Nope. But ACG stories DO have a charm about them. And within the confines of ACG itself, by which I mean if you spend a few days only reading ACG horror, well you strat to develop a starnge, unusual, almost ACGish perception and suddenly a particular story impresses you as being gruesome or ghoulish, simply in contrast to some of the other ACG stories that are making up this ACG diet.

Also, there ARE some tales in ACG that put me in mind of the Ditko pre-hero Marvel stories. You know, the ones at the end of Tales of Suspense or Strange Tales, etc. They sometimes had a fantasy quality to them that many of the ACG stories had, but ACG was doing them some years earlier. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif Food for thought!

So, you're saying ACG contributed to Gore's presidential run?!? 'Cause I always thought ACG was around before Al ran for office..........

......or did I just misunderstand what you said?
