Paul Smith doing a Kitty Pryde story is great retro news, Lapham doing Daredevil/Punisher is great newtro news, and Greg Land on UFF will bring me back to the book. I'll also be interested in Kaare Andrews covers for the various books. I loved his run of covers on The Hulk.

This is the only way I read USM. The book doesn't work in the pamphlet format, but works well here, as Bendis is clearly only writing for trades. Unlike most other "old timers" I like USM, but he's trying to hard to cram stuff in.

Yeah, so far I've liked it as well. And I've never really been a big Cap fan. But it's not high on my priority list, and if it doesn't start to pick up and get back on track, I may have to forget about it to make room for something else.

You know Marvel is repreinting everything in sight when they start having things like a West Coast Avengers trade paperback.

 

Now, there's never been a Warlock trade (reprinting the classic Starlin stuff) but they did manage to get out the all important Vision quest storyline.

Very valid point concerning the quality of stories that get reprinted.

But, you do know that the Starlin Warlock's were reprinted in the 1980's Special Edition Warlock series(strange tales178-181, Warlock 9-15, MTU 55, & Avengers Annual 7/M2in1 Annual 2)? I actually liked the Annual issues the best. I'll take a Thanos story over Magnus anytime.
