BEST BUY force awakens has scenes and dialogue deleted...

So I bought THE FORCE AWAKENS blu ray from BEST BUY...On two occasions I noticed dialogue left out. I ended up not watching it all cause I was pissed. I saw the movie three times and my g/f and I would recite some of this dialogue. We were shocked to see it missing. Anyone else discover this? What else was edited out?

 

1) Han meeting the pirates..."Tell that to conheclub, he's standing there behind ya."

Blu ray omits the "hes standing there behind ya."

 

2)Han meeting Leia first time...no dialogue of Han saying "it wasnt all that bad."

So you saw the movie enough to be able to remember that much dialog but are just now getting around to buying the blu?

 

And what about the blu from Amazon ?? Have you checked that one?

No amazon...but I am 100 percent right about this. Not that I am trying to be picky, just curious why they omitted it.

I suspect that it's not just the Best Buy copies. Wonder if the 3D version out next month will also have it edited out?

Are there whole missing scenes, or just some snipped dialog? Could the snipped parts be in the deleted scenes section?

These are scenes/dialogue that was in original...not the "special " deleted scenes. My g/f and I would always joke about the .."tell that to conhe club, hes standing there behind ya.." We were watching the blu ray and it stopped with "tell that to conhe club.." and we were like..wtf?

I am not imagining this...no google proof...I am not going crazy...dont understand why they deleted that and other dialogue. Wouldnt at least the blu ray say its a special cut?

As someone who works for that company, I can tell you it has nothing to do with Best Buy. They get their stock from the same place as everyone else, even the exclusive steenboks or whatever packaging...still the same manufacturer and distributor.

So, maybe the home version got edited? Even when Leia met Han, he said,,,it wasnt all that bad was it? referring to past..no mention in blu ray,,,
