Wings Comics 124

Although with two helicopters on the cover they could have called it Rotors, lol

Last issue of the series.

Manufactured with upper staple only. Spine roll, some general wear, chip out upper spine. Cover and CF firmly attached in spite of the missing staple. White pages.

Start with the end of the series and work backwards!

Asking $30

The Warlord 1

Tough black cover, and this is a pretty copy with juuuuust enough flaws to keep it out of the upper tier.

I spot 5 color breaks along the spine, and a teensy dogear lower RH FC that breaks color. Slight miscut, there's a sliver of white along upper edge of FC, RH side. That's it.

Flat, clean, square, glossy, tight spine and CF, white pages.

Take it for $25

Fantastic Four Annual 2

And Doctor Doom has never looked more malevolent!

There's a small split upper spine on the back cover, and a minor bit of wear, but this is a flat and square annual, tight with white pages.

Grab a beaut for $160

Well, well! We seem to have stumbled into the squarebound section!

Archie's Christmas Stocking #1. 1954

First book in the Archie Giant series.

Plenty of general wear, small tear RH edge FC.

Other than that, a nice bit of gloss left, tight with white pages.

Take it home for the Holidays for $150

Archie's Christmas Stocking 3

Nicer than #1, but there's a quarter inch piece out of lower spine, and a half inch tear from the top of the missing piece into the BC. Small stain lower LH FC by Archie's foot, see scan. There's one page detached lower part of the leaf, still tight upper edge. Nice squarebound, flat and tight, glossy with white pages.

Asking $50, an offer only Ebenezer Scrooge could refuse!

So! Squarebounds ain't this crowd's cup of tea, how about Ditko?

Blue Beetle 3, the Charlton reboot from 1967 with Ted Kord

Your basic VG reader, but chock full of Steve Ditko goodness.

Big dogear with tear upper LH BC, diminishing sized dogears on the dozen or so pages behind it.

Yours for $10

Ricky 5

Sadly, not autobiographical, I've never dated a redhead in my life, lol

Kinda rugged, with spotting/foxing along RH FC, general wear, and there's a vertical tear in the CF from the lower staple up for a couple inches. Otherwise sound, white pages.

Grab a nice reader for $10 SOLD!

Scooby Doo Mystery Comics 23

So there's Scooby and The Gang, fighting Napoleon of all people. Durned interfering kids...

Nice midgrade, bit of wear, mostly along spine, on a solid flat copy. Decent amount of gloss, tight, white pages.

EDIT: that misshapen business on the horse's butt must be a stacking wrinkle, I see no sign of staining or water inside or out.

$10 takes it.

All right Gang, I think that's it for the evening. Believe I'll mix a tall one and relax with a book for the rest of the evening.

About halfway through Wizard, by John Varley. Just read Titan, and I have Demon on tap for the next one. Varley kicks arse.

Good evening to you all, see you tomorrow with more stuff and nonsense!
