Any Graytone fans out there?

Our Fighting Forces 20, early Graytone cover.

A few small snaps on the spine, bit of minor general wear, and a faint whiff of soiling along spine BC.

Rock solid, flat, glossy, tight spine and CF, white pages. A beauty.

Asking $75

Detective Comics 81

Out of the same batch as the last issue, and the same situation. Tape repairs inside and outside spine, staple removed and the book reassembled. Tight, flat, bit of gloss left, offwhite pages.

Slightly miscut, and there's a teensy corner off lower RH FC, may be visible in scan, light dust shadow lower edge BC, lower spine is split about an inch.

Asking $150

Zoo Funnies 12, 1955

Featuring Nyoka, who for the cover only, has gone Blonde!

Last story is CLIBO the Jungle King, looks like a leftover inventory story from Jo-Jo, with the name very obviously pasted over. Kind of funny.

Flat, tight, clean, glossy, a bit of wear on a copy with white pages.

Take home a nice one for $20

Jo-Jo Congo King 23

Flat and tight, nice looking copy with some issues.

Small split upper spine with chip out, vertical tear near spine lower edge FC, vertical tear next to lower staple, which is still attached, and that odd vertical line across entire cover near RH edge. Looks to me like it went across an inky roller during the printing process. Interior is nice with offwhite to white pages.

EDIT: 1" tear lower BC

This is a rerun from a previous thread, and priced to MOVE, take it home for $50

Journey Into Unknown Worlds 28

Looks pretty nice from the front, but there is some pretty big wear along the spine BC.

Couple horizontal tears RH BC to boot, light water upper RH FC, a bit darker upper LH BC. Still tight, offwhite pages.

Take a copy that's a step above a reader for $30 SOLD!

Adventure Comics 200

OBOY DC apes! And precode apes at that!

What you have here is your basic rugged 1.5 or 1.8. Nothing HORRIBLY wrong, but plenty of general wear, split/tear upper spine nearly to staple, split lower spine, small tears here and there along spine. 1" horizontal tear through entire book at lower staple.

All that being said, it displays pretty nicely, cream - offwhite pages.

EDIT: After a PM inquiry and a closer inspection, be advised that there are glue repairs up and down the spine. And I STILL want twenty bucks, lol

Take a precode superhero reader home for $20 SOLD!

Marvel Spotlight 2

First appearance Werewolf By Night.

Art by Ploog, picture frame cover by Neal Adams, contains a Venus reprint by Everett, what's not to love?

This is a strong contender for the best book in the thread.

Faint whiff of general wear, there's a tiny spot FC where the upper staple is pushing through, and that's really about it.

This is a flat clean tight squarebound book, glossy as all git out, white pages. There's just not much wrong here.

If it doesn't sell here I intend to send it in for a slab.

Asking $250 FIRM

All righty, last book for the evening. Let's finish off with another nice Bronze book.

Amazing Adventures 11, first appearance of Furry Beast.

Color flake upper spine, four tiny snaps along spine that break color, light small dogear lower RH FC, bit of light soiling among upper spine BC. That's really all that's wrong.

Flat, clean, square, glossy, tight spine and CF, white pages.

Take it home for $150
