JUN 1939; Fourth Superman cover! Two page centerfold ad for Superman #1. First appearance of Ultra-Humanite. Jerry Siegel and Gardner Fox stories. Bernard Baily and Fred Guardineer art. Joe Shuster cover and art. Front cover is detached, back cover missing. Pieces missing on front cover, tape along left side, taped tears. Interior is complete with nice cream to off-white pages and tight staples. Some staining on edge of a few pages.

A fine Creig Flessel cover graces the issue, and interior art by Flessel, Joe Shuster, and Sven Elven fill the pages. A Golden Age treasure, when Slam Bradley, Speed Saunders, and Handcuff Hawkins were the stars of the title
