the main price guide for comics is called Overstreet Price Guide. Its available at most comic book stores or online.

 

Inside there are also guidelines for how to grade a comic.

 

In the event that you have the comic graded (which you should), you can use a service called GPA to help you establish value for the comic as well.

That may be the case, but I'd be hesitant about throwing out numbers before knowing the comic was complete, restored, or knowing the condition of the interior or the back cover.

Congratulations with this one. Yes, do what many are telling you ... get it graded first! Well worth your time and money In paying fees to get it checked, graded and slabbed.
