2017 GA Goals

I will kick it off

 

1. Submit some GA Batman's and Detectives for grading. I have about 30 or so to submit.

 

2. Pick up that elusive Batman 11 to upgrade my copy.

 

3. Pick up on GA #1 from my want list.

Submitting books for grading is definitely tops on the list. I've got stacks that nearly double each year because grading budget keeps going to something that pops up that I want.

1. To sell or trade the books I don't feel the need to keep

2. To only buy the books I want to keep (unless the deal is too good and it helps me accomplish the buying)

3. To know the difference between number 1 and number 2 before I spend the money.

I am considering getting into superhero books, but later ones from 1950-58 as that is the period I collect. I want a nice cover of each of the main DC heroes like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

 

Thankfully the late GA and early SA are MUCH more affordable than earlier issues.

$40k is i nice new car Hudson Did i ever tell you that in 1982 i was offered a copy of Action 1 beat but complete he wanted 3000 i said no way for that better Happy new year Hudson you get that book this year

My goals tend to vary, but at the top of the list, depending of course on what pops up as available, are:

3. At least one example from Weird Suspenstories 1-3

4. More PCH original art

Well you and I seem to share similar interests in AWESOME books brother!! I just got a pretty sweet MLJ knocked off of the list tonight...Great way to ring in 2017 with a Bang!!
