Sales thread started by muscleshark. He had a ASM 95 that someone noticed was on Ebay. When it was pointed out the insults started flying. It got pretty nasty.

 

He took on the whole forum starting with Chrome and the best part was where he was gonna fight arex at the Balitmore Con or some place....

What do ya mean, gonna? lol. I think it's going to be in the driveway/parking lot, if memory serves.

What are the Mods doing about a certain SpoonDog who's SPAMMING the forums with multiple selling threads? I count 5 right now, and he's taking up the majority of front page with this BS.

 

Once again, I call for a no-nonsense, zero-tolerance Forum Cop who can deal with these maroons in a very harsh and decisive manner. No coddling needed or wanted.

As you were posting this, another lister who had posted 2 threads for individual books within 2 minutes of each other last night just bumped them both to the top of the page about 12 hours after they were originally posted.

 

It's actually tiring me out having to wade through these listings littered with violations while I try to keep my threads in compliance and as respectful to everyone else as possible.

 

Do people not care enough to read the rules, or are they incapable?

I've had 1 FS thread here in the last 3 weeks. The book was also on ebay (I forgot) and it was pulled before i could delete it off my ebay site, yet 5 threads are left to sit all day with books being sold.

 

If the mods are going to police, they need to be even across the boards. What I see happening now is nowhere near even. And yes I am jaded, bitter, etc. Call it what you want but if you throw down the gauntlet do it all the time or not at all.

Since this happened on a weekend, and we all know you can get away with most anything because the mods are rarely looking, I tend to give the mods the benefit of a doubt on this one.

 

The appropriate measures will be dealt out soon enough I'm sure...

I think the biggest difference is these threads were started late on a Sunday night. The mods cleaned it up before noon today. Yea I know it sucks, but I think the mods acted pretty swiftly

I think what this place needs is a Mod who will not show any favoritism.

 

We are not little kids who need their hands being held to be shown the way.

 

Threads that are not up to snuff according to the rules should be deleted, no questions asked.
