Am I the only one to think that this particular board member comments a lot in people's sales threads, often not in the positive or constructive?

Having run large threads before, it takes a little time to mark everything as sold when things are flying off the proverbial shelf quickly. Some sellers with large threads don't even get a chance to do so (if I come across a thread that's been running for a while with a lot of posts and I'm just checking it for the first time, I usually go backwards -- best way to see what's been claimed).

Maybe it's my imagination. (shrug)

I have noticed the same thing.

Kinda dicky. Has anyone told him?

There's plenty of people like that, or that only post "Sweet book! GLWTS!" "Wish I didn't have _insert reason not to buy here_ to take care of!"

I've thought about commenting on it, but realized it's a very minor annoyance.

Going back into his posting history, there seem to be a lot of posts in various sales threads, but at least a cursory search turns up no books being claimed...just comments. Perhaps just trying to fluff up his post count as he's new here? (shrug)

Is that AFTER the mods came in and cleaned up the threadkrapping from earlier yesterday in the same thread?

Man, that's just begging for a wristslap/strike.

It's possible. For what purposes that would be for -- helping his credibility if he decided to run his own sales thread at some point? -- remains to be seen. (shrug)

I've thought about commenting on it, but I don't want to do so in anyone's sales thread and derail it. I could PM him, but I don't want to get into some back and forth with someone if they take things the wrong way. I just know that if he does it in one of my future sales threads, it's a safe bet he's going to hear about it. :sumo:

Since I'm an established poster/buyer, I'm going to take this as an invitation to question your pricing, grading, and everything else about your sales threads! :baiting:

What are these "typical board rules" often referenced in seller's threads?

You can do so in a week or two when I run my next one! :shamelessplug: lol

I got my first private warning for a post in that thread.

Hope they hammer Frankie, that crybaby.

What I don't get is that he's crying about a DC book? I thought he was all about Marvel and DC sucked. :insane:
Yeah, and for once, he made Brock out to be the innocent one. That deserves a banning just for that.

That Brock beat him to the book. Yeah, that's it.
