Cat-Man_America
Love the 1939 Atlas Wire Rack Company catalog and the prominently displayed pulps and comics. Imagine the display in color... sfcityduck

Robot Man
Thanks Cool, I didn't realize there were so many. I wonder if Golden Book collectors treasure racks as much as wel comic book folks do? I picked mine up at the Alameda Flea Market. Just jumped out at me as unusual and pretty cheap. Haven't seen another one but then I don't look too hard. sfcityduck
Congrats to whoever got this GA Ziff Davis rack off of eBay. I missed it. The "wholesome reading" theme always makes me laugh: Edited September 12, 2019 by sfcityduck ThothAmon and batman_fan
sfcityduck
And another good pick-up for someone off of eBay - a neat SA DC counter-top rack: Edited September 12, 2019 by sfcityduck batman_fan, badback83 and ThothAmon
Robot Man
Amazing that more and more obscure old comic book seem to surface. I’ve never seen either of these.
sfcityduck
Thought I would re-post these as someone just joined the CCA rack club. The first three are mine, DocHoppus's, and one that is/was Zaid's: telerites and badback83

I nabbed another comics code spinner, owned it for less than a normal workday and now my best bud has it. Big thanks to @sfcityduck for keeping these threads alive. Robot Man
OK, I have this counter DC comic rack... Well today, I found this. Great to have an exact date on it! Guess I need to retake this photo with the proper year books in it. Any suggestions? sfcityduck, ThothAmon, Larryw7 and 1 other 3
sfcityduck
Fantastic photo! I've always thought it dated to the early 50s based on House ads though. Maybe that one had lived outdoors for a decade - like my rusty version of that rack (the sign not the body): badback83
sfcityduck
Someone scored a really nice Marvel rack topper on Hake's this week that I'd never seen before: Hake's also sold a generic rack that this topper would have fit. I wonder if the lucky winner got both and now has a nice Marvel rack?

sfcityduck
Don't know what to make of this one. Foreign? Remaindered comics? But, I'm guessing its unique. You can find it on eBay: ThothAmon
