Chaplains at War (Living Bible #3) Spring 1946 Living Bible Pubs

Classic, very sad L.B. Cole cover. The look on those service men is very haunting... Great WWII stories and art in this book.

Book is neatly detached from covers. Numerous small tears, wrinkles, creases and wear. Small piece out of back cover at top as well as front cover at top. Interior paper is yellowed, supple with no damage. A filler and priced that way.

$30.

Animal Comics #20 1946 Dell Publishers

Just awsome Walt Kelly art throughout. Pogo and Albert Alilgator story. Again, a very underrated artist.

Nice, tight, complete copy. Has some spine bends, a lower right corner crease, a tiny lower left spine tear and just light general wear. Off white interior paper.

Was $24.   Now  $20.

Spine neatly split to bottom staple. Top has a neat 3/4" split as well. Small chip out of bottom right corner. Has a small crayon letter in center of cover and a little ink scribbling inside bucket. Some wrinkles and general wear. Book and centerfold bound well to covers. Nice interior paper.

Was $25.   Now  $20.

The Beverly Hillbillies #1 April-June 1963 Dell Publishers

Great stuff! Maybe my favorite TV show as a kid. The comics were just as good as the show.

Nice, clean, complete copy. A little, light edge wear and some spine bends. No tears or creases. Book and centerfold bound well to covers. Nice interior paper.

$25.

Uncle Scrooge FC #386 (#1) and FC #456 (#2) 1952 Dell Publishers

Here is a rare treat for Scrooge and Barks fans. Both first two issues as a lot. FC #456 is the definitive origin of Scrooge and really sets up the character. Both are great reads.

These have problems... FC #386 was severly trimmed years ago some Bozo. It is trimmed all the way to the edge of the interior panels. Art is un-affected but what a bummer...FC #456 is a lot better a solid good with no trimming.

Was Grab a reader's bargain for $100.

Now $85. Beat or not, this is a steal!

Star Spangled #63 Dec 1946 DC Publications

Great under-rated Jack Kirby DC title.  A great reader.

Has a piece 1/2" x 1-1/4" off upper left corner. Back cover has a large dust shadow. Cover is almost entirely and neatly split from book but still hanging on. A couple small corner creases. Centerfold is snug. Yellowed but very supple interior paper.

Was $40.   Now  $35. For classic GA Kirby???

Pep Comics #100 Nov 1953 Archie Publications

Nice cover gag!

Has a small 1" lower spine tear. Some small edge tears. Worst is 1" long on back cover. A couple of creases. Worst is about 6" long at top of cover in a diagonal. Edges are yellowed mostly on back cover. Dust shadow? Worn, but complete and well attached with decent interior paper.

Was $25.   Now  $20.
