Popular Post Aliens
hey guys im sure this has been done before but i cant fine one so i suppose why not just create one. post a picture of your grail and name the reason why you love it so much, also your "Grail" does not have to be a key issue or anything like that, it is just the book that YOU love not a book that someone else says you should love. i'll start out with mine, i've shown this book a lot on CGC but i just love it, and sure its not the most valuable book in my collection but is was my first ASM book which is now my favorite series and its the only comic i own which i personally got Stan to sign. plus love doc ock, and that Ditko cover though Edited December 28, 2017 by Aliens exitmusicblue, porcupine48, JazzMan and 5 others

Popular Post Azkaban
this one will always be with me. Iron Man was the first character that I fell in love with from a comic that my mother bought me and I found this at a flee market one day and bought it for $10 dollars. I never saw any color touch on it but I kept it laying around in my room all the time my kid sister probably marked on it but I'll keep it forever comicdonna, badback83, porcupine48 and 8 others

Popular Post Brandon Shepherd
This grail is a piece that I originally missed when first offered online, I saved the scan and tortured myself for some time. This book was certified in 2011 and first listed on Worldwide Comics shortly after, a site I check multiple times a day. By the time I saw the listing the sale was already pending. Two years later the piece was listed on ComicLink, thankfully the book was previewed a few months before the auction opened, giving me time to plan and save. My max bid was actually reached the first night of the auction, to my surprise (and relief) no one else bid there after, I thought for sure a respected boardie with a penchant for DC 100 pagers would go after this. I opened a bottle of champagne when I received this book, I’m still grateful for the second chance on this. This awesome Nick Cardy cover caught my eye when I was 12 and just starting on comic books. At the time this book seemed really old since it was published before I was born. Superman with a big smile on his face and opening up a giant copy of Action Comics to unleash DC’s finest from its pages captured my imagination. One summer in college I came across a decent copy at my local comic shop for $10.00. That copy was such a treat for me, I finally had it after what would have been almost a decade since I saw the cover for the first time as a kid. I'd also hear about how difficult these square-bound, 100 pages giants were to find in high grade over the years, I thought I would have to settle for a lower grade to get a nice certified copy, I was wrong. comicartfan, Philreal, Larryw7 and 5 others

Popular Post newshane
My grail? I'll never be able to afford it. But here is my favorite piece of drek. Happens to be one of the rarest modern era comics out there. Only a literal handful floating around in this condition, and the census has stayed frozen at that number for years. Another copy is currently for sale on eBay for over 12,000 bucks! Put it to you this way, if the house was on fire, this would be the comic I'd grab first.
