I still wonder what my 7.0 white pages in a old case (wasn’t pressed Nether) would fetch.

Good choice to stick with white pages, with so many copies available page quality makes a difference. (thumbsu

Sarcasm at its finest and are you stating this with your tongue firmly implanted in your cheek.

And as we all know from decades of comic book terminology and Overstreet brainwashing, Good is actually at the bottom of the scale from a comic collector's point of view.  Hence, it would be an even Finer choice to go with OW / White pages.  And better yet, you could top if off with a Near Mint choice and simply go with Off-White pages.  (: lol

Do not try to confuse the newbie collectors to our great Forum here as we should not only welcome them here, but be willing to share our decades of collecting experiences and lessons learned with them.  hm  (thumbsu

An 8.0 181 with white pages just ended on eBay for $5100 ...unreal

Unreal for sure I sold my undercopies way too soon. This has always been a Book I get and sell off but I am certainly thinking the cost of admission will stop that going forward.

The "PQ" on the label continuing to not make a difference, AT ALL

I don't know if thats snark but It was a white pager.

Edit: I don't know if you were referring to the 9.4 with that comment? If so your assertion could have some merit but only with recent 9.4 sales. The 9.6 was a white

A 9.6 with "white pages" just sold for "only" $11.4k on heritage a week ago. Why is this copy $4k+ more?  Answer: Who knows, but it's obviously not because of the alleged "PQ" on the label.  The 9.4 is already $100 more than the 9.4 with "white pages" that also just sold on heritage a week ago. The all time high of $8500 for a 9.4 (so far) did not have "white pages" on the label either. What does that mean? It means nothing, that's what it means, other than that there is NO consistent or quantifiable difference in price based on the so-called "PQ" on the label.

The sale preceding the 11,400 9.6 was an ow/w for 10,800. I know it was a Thursday afternoon but the 11,400 wasn't exactly an ideal end time either on a Saturday afternoon. This thing is so rapidly on the move right now so it's not all going to make perfect sense. The general rule still applies. I'd still prefer a white pager

Yeah and there was another 9.6 with "white pages" on the label on Ebay a couple weeks before that which also sold for $10,900:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Incredible-Hulk-181-CGC-9-6-WHITE-1st-Wolverine-Nov-1974-Marvel-/263718226054?nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2349624.m43663.l10137&redirect=mobile

And another with 9.6 with "ow/w pages" on the label sold for $11.5k a few weeks later:

https://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidsLogin&_trksid=p3750801.m370.h1613&rc=nt&item=183268300606&LH_BIN=1&_pgn=1&item_hash4=6d3c85fe&ul_ref=http%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F711-53200-19255-0%2F1%3Fff3%3D4%26campid%3D5335849815%26toolid%3D10034%26customid%3DeBay-US_go-url_-76d1aaf11675--www.watchcount.com-ilu.ihist.183268300606.-_wcc%26mpre%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Foffer.ebay.co.uk%252Fws%252FeBayISAPI.dll%253FViewBidsLogin%2526item%253D183268300606%2526item_hash4%253D6d3c85fe%2526LH_Complete%253D1%2526LH_BIN%253D1%2526_pgn%253D1%2526rc%253Dnt%2526_trksid%253Dp3750801.m370.h1613%26srcrot%3D711-53200-19255-0%26rvr_id%3D1640432512006%26rvr_ts%3D5edfcd931650ac1e1bc38380fffff388&LH_Complete=1&ViewBidsLogin=

...which is $100 more than what the 9.6 with "white pages" on the label sold for last week in Heritage. :whatthe:

What does it all mean ?  It means nothing.

well snap, it was there earlier.... or I'd post a linky.... :pullhair:

???

I looked up sold listings on my phone and it showed an #180 in 8.5 sold for $750. I looked it up on my computer to post the link, but no longer saw it. I know that it is #180 and not #181, but it would have been note worthy, as I believe $750 is the highest paid :foryou:

Carry on lol

2016 averages for CGC 8.5:  #181 = $2,350, #180 = $390: The #181 was 6 times the #180 price.

2017 averages for CGC 8.5:  #181 = $2,526, #180 = $405: The #181 was 6.2 times the #180 price.

90 day averages for CGC 8.5: #181 = $4,296, #180 = $648: The #181 is 6.6 times the #180 price.

If the earlier multiplier between #180 and #181 is going to hold around 6 to 6.2, then the #180 prices are currently a little low. hm
