And with a flash and a whisper, he was gone.

Always happens to all the great ones! :sorry:

Years ago I played a game of whack-a-mole with an Ebay dealer who was doing the invisible keyword thing and all his stupid, unrelated auctions would show up in my searches. I kept reporting him, and eventually he would stop for a while. then I'd report him again. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Marval.

hm

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!

Fast forward six months and it's still there.

'MARVAL'.

But I'm totally cool with it. Doesn't bother me one bit.

Nor does this copy, which is not only very rare, but desired.

Doesn't irk me in the slightest.

This next listing doesn't irk me in the slightest either:

Why would someone selling a leg, sorry 'LEGG', irk me? Or anyone for that matter?

It's all good.

I'm cool with it. They can pop up on my screen every day of the week as far as I'm concerned. I'm totally immune to their former irkdom.

Really.

You simply have no idea... take your listing search hurt and multiply it by 1000.... welcome to my world.

Ha! I see your point GPA. But look, I'm sure the £2.95 Spidey 'legg' is an outlier.

:frustrated:

I hate the sellers who spam the Golden Age search with modern Drek.

Unfortunatly there are more of them than there are spaces in the advanced search blocking feature.

OMG... the trick is to do a search and as things come up do a "-1992" or whatever the year the reprint is listed.

So for example if I am searching for a particular EC Book, I will post the name of the book "-reprint, -archives, -coverless" or anything else I want to weed out.
