2018 Green Eggs Grading Contest - Round 2 5 5

My strategy for this round was to look at the issue number of each book, and then put a .0 to the right of the issue number. And that would be the grade.

It didn't work.

I had 2.5 & 5.0.  GA is always hard for me. I guess I'll just start adding 2 points to whatever my final GA grade is. Definitely looked at these too long.

Those were the grades I submitted as well.

I was 4.0 and 5.0. 7.0 is hard to believe.

I got -1 for each AND a call to the Mods for my scores. Brutal.

In total my grades add to 11, bulls eye? Close enough?

I started at 4.0 for the Millie as that tear was staring me in the face but then realized it needed the Golden Age curve and with little else wrong took a chance at 7.0. Not so good with the other one. With that piece missing along with all the other defects I thought for sure not more than a 2.5.

I'm happy, 3.5 and 6.5 respectively.  The 7.0 on the Millie was a little high IMO with the "rat chew" corner but guess I could see a 4 on the WC on a good day.  No complaints.
