I only started the thread friend,you all have helped make it something fun,couldn't do it without great participants.

If it's positive or important,post away.

Papa and I watched more late seventies early eighties reruns on public cable back when,but this theme is the bestestest.

One of the top give me shivers and nostalgic longing songs I know.Chokes me up,makes me miss my papa but I love it.

Weirdest find.Blowing in the snow when walking the dog!Just skidding down the street on the ice,a primer from 1961  How strange is that?

Definitely from a different time.'Mothers,let the television help you watch your children while you busy yourself with dinner and chores' sort of thing.A real oddball item,and how I came across it makes it super special to me.

Any POGO fans here?This maybe common,I don't know,but I'll never forget how I got it.

Two of my newest arrivals from a fine boardie,such great,great reads,and I've wanted a copy of that EC from way back when I was reading those wonderful 64 page Gladstone double annuals.I've said over and over how much those comics meant to me growing up,bonding with my dad in difficult early teen years.Always a special treat to get an original of one of my favourites.Always loved the sci fi ones best,so many Bradbury stories,Wood art... .Monetary values got nothing on the warm nostalgic feeling certain issues can bring.
