I've been doing SDCC for 20 years. And certainly it has changed greatly in that time. As a dealer, you either adapt to those changes, or you are left behind in the dust. It is not a cheap show to set up at. Most dealers are going to have a minimum of $10,000.00 of expenses, before the show starts, some considerably more than that. However, there are still buyers at that show that I see nowhere else. And I meet new customers every year. Like Bob, I am trying to use the convention not only for sales, but also for making long term customers for my website. I have added a couple of dozen new customers to my website in the 2 weeks since the show.  Between that and the still very good sales, the show is more than worthwhile.  And there are still more quality comics at this show than any other in my opinion.

Owe you an apology, Jimbo.  First time I read this a bit of lint was on the screen and I thought you were saying "boxers" ...thankfully I cleaned my screen and that image can permanently be erased from my mind! :shy:
