FineCollector
12, definitely. I've been hunting a nicely presenting low grade copy for a long time. I find that issues after 23 or so seem to turn up more often, and with better paper quality.

shadroch
25 is a better story but is much more common. I think 12 is undervalued. I have a small hoard of 25s, and find dealers often have multiple copies and are flexible with the price.
Chicago Boy
I found the story in 12 to be overrated haven't read 25 in a while but 12 's cover is better IMO. First Hulk crossover for 12 so all the wight might be right there in the decision Spoiler
thehumantorch
#12 by a mile. Lot harder to find and a wonderful SA cover
Tsp99
As most everyone has mentioned, get the 12 1st. Historically more important and tougher to find in comparison to the 25. Personally, I've always been a sucker for darker covers (ie purple, black, etc) and therefore aesthetically prefer a high grade 25....
ThothAmon
12. In the mid 90’s I Bought some Kirby Hulk art off a guy in Rochester N.Y. tried to convince him to also sell me the interior page to FF 12 that is depicted on the cover. Sadly he didn’t. I dream about that page frequently.
jeffreyk
FF 12 is one of my favorite stories ever!
KirbyJack
If a budget is involved, I’m assuming you’re talking about different grades for the two? Like a 5.0 12 vs. a 9.0 25; is this correct? 1950's war comics

Primetime
the story in 25/26 is really good and better than the 12. But the 12 is earlier and I prefer the cover/12 cent bubble marvels.

In that case I'd still recommend the 12, but make sure it presents the way you like. It's easy to get caught up and settle for the first copy in your budget. Nice looking FF 12s aren't overly abundant. 1950's war comics
spracknetch23
I'd go for the midgrade 12 any day. Especially if it presents well.
KirbyJack
Bear in mind, you don’t need to break the bank to obtain a nice looking FF 25; maybe just get both? Bought this from High Grade Comics within the last year or two. 1950's war comics
