I snapped these photos while waiting in line to submit it for grading.  Book was pressed and the presser did a decent job.  What do you think it will come back as?  Inside is nice with no defects and average page quality.

Corners look a little soft and some wear to top edge front and back, 8.0 is my guess.

I think a little better, 8.5, maybe 9.0 . I think I see some top edge wear on the BC, right in the middle of the glare spot so it is very difficult to tell for sure.

Oooooo! Such a great book to have! Amazing copy too!!! I think it could get a 9.0 maybe a little higher.

I'd venture an 8.5. Looks like small edge wear on the top, and little corner foxing. I think those keep it from a 9, but likely an 8.5.

8.0 Great book! I think this is the first time I've ever guessed lower than Bob. Maybe I'm seeing things that aren't there.

Thanks for the replies!  I'll pay it forward by grading a bunch of books here.  I think I'm in the 8.5 camp myself.  In hand, it seems like it's a "shot 9.0", but it's a little soft on the corners.  The picture makes the whites appear a little brighter than they are, which might hold it down too.  I don't believe an 8.0 because the insides are pretty nice.  Not the whitest paper, but supple.

Ok, so I got the grade back.  7.5 with Cream to Offwhite Pages.  Not happy about that.

Man you got screwed on that. Looking at the pics I thought easy 8.5

7.5 is a pretty long way from "shot at a 9.0", did you get grader notes?

That books at least a 8.5 IMO unless there's something we can't see.
