I thought about y'all today at the lcs, as I'm searching the cheaper slabs, and he said, "oh and got this!" And he pulled out a marville slab. I chuckled I thought there was one almost nude crawling toward on the floor cover that was supposed to be the high value one, but idk and to each their own in a way, I thought if I ever found it in the wild I'd pick it up then haha Jesse-Lee

The Greg Horn covers can be all over on price but usually go for $5-15 each (issue 1 sometimes goes for more). The one you're talking about is issue 5, which is typically the most expensive. The seller had two examples of the sealed packs which had the same colour error. He also had individual loose posters which were printed the same. He said that he bought them off eBay years ago. They're superb. They remind me of the two tone contents of the old UK weeklies. Nicely done, greggy.

I just cross referenced to some of the posts in my sun fade thread and these are clearly printing errors. This might be one of the missing colour plates: https://comics.ha.com/itm/memorabilia/mmms-hulk-poster-production-materials-marvel-1966-/a/121610-11818.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 MMMS Hulk Poster Production Materials (Marvel, 1966). Make Mine Marvel! This large stat image of the Hulk (taken from the Jack Kirby side of the cover from Tales To Astonish #67) was used to create the much beloved Hulk poster offered in 1966 Merry Marvel Marching Society poster set. The image was created from a 18.5" tall stat image that was then altered with a small amount of original art shading, and white paint highlights. This group comes with the black, yellow, and red rubylith overlay acetate sheets for color separation work by the printer. The stat is affixed to a 15" x 20 illustration board with a few ripples in it. The board is tanned and the stat is starting to come loose, otherwise in Very Good condition and a wonderful part of Marvel Comics history. @Garystar will love them. Very jealous, still on my wants list. There was a set on eBayUK not too long ago for £800, I held out hoping price would drop but they just disappeared, probably sold off eBay. There is someone in France currently selling the rarer set with red and white header for €995.

If I noticed that he had a dupe earlier, I would have bought that as well but a friend of mine bought it. I've learned to always pick up interesting items if you find them, as you may never see them again. Larryw7 and Get Marwood & I

Curious why no sketch covers if just for cgc? It's hard for me not to sound like a loyalist to cgc with the question, as OA is a much older market, that I'm just not in tune enough with and or especially when it comes to authentication. Like there is such a big deal made over raw sigs, but not over the art itslef for sketches, which always left me thinking too much Congrats! Look forward to the slabs! Was there on-site grading?
