johnenock
Just in from Colmore Comics..... DC Great book. Are there many Green River's still for sale or are a lot of them buried in collections now? And, more importantly, were there runs of DC war books? Red Hook
johnenock, Not a lot generally for sale at the moment. I do know of a number of collectors who have good runs in private collectons, I've noted that on my website. And yes, there were some good runs of DC war books, but they haven't been seen much at all. There were 33 copies of GI Combat, 72 copies of OAAW, 2 of SSWS....but of these three titles I've only seen five books so far. Have no idea where the others are. Wally's Comics
Just in from Colmore Comics..... DC Great book. Are there many Green River's still for sale or are a lot of them buried in collections now? And, more importantly, were there runs of DC war books? That is a nice book. But it makes me ask the question, why pedegrees are so dang important / valuable? It's just a copy of a certain collection. Right? No body famous??? Personally I could care less if a book came from a certain collection as long as it was a nice book. What am I missing?

Red Hook
No, actually I think Nerf is totally correct. No one in his right mind should bother collecting pedigree books. They have no significance. They're just overpriced copies of regular books. These aren't the books you were looking for. Move along. Red
