Planet Comics #60 May 1949 Friction House Pubs

Nice era for this title. Art by George Evans and Graham Ingels just before they went to EC

Has a lot of light ink writing at top of cover. Has some spine wear. Maybe a few spots of glue on inside front cover at top. Has a long, thin "subscription" crease down center. Numerous tiny edge tears and some light wrinkling. Small tear on back cover. General wear. Book and centerfold still well attached to covers. Yellowed but supple interior pages.

$110.

OK, something you will never see in a sales thread here or nearly anywhere else...

1941 Shock Gibson Live Wires Speed Comics Volunteers Premium Pinback button. 1-1/2" long. Cello with original pin in back. Was a mail in club for Speed Comics in 1941. Now, those of us know how tough it is to find Speed comics would know better. How many of these still exist? WAY less than the rare comics that it was advertised in. I am the lucky owner of two of them! I have only seen two or 3 others. Find another one...

$225. (don't mind having two of them or might trade for an issue of Speed that I don't have...)

Football day.

I guess I should care because our Rams are un-defeated but I'm a baseball guy. Trying to get this done some I can hopefully watch my Dodgers pull a rabbit out of a hat and stay alive in the World Series... Baseball is such a cruel mistress...:wishluck:

Fight Comics #26 June 1943 Friction House Pubs

Awsome early wartime cover with lots of GGA inside. Fat 68 page wartime issue.

Has some rough spots on spine. Small piece out of spine at top back and a small tear at lower spine on front. Has a 2-1/2" split at top of spine and cover is neatly detached from single staple. Lots of thin creases on right side of cover and a few tiny edge tears. Cover presents nicely with no missing pieces to deface this cool wartime scene. Interior pages are supple but were cut a little off kilter in the binding process. Nice early Fight issue.

Was $65.  Now $55.
