catrick339
Wild Boy 11 is SOLD! Battle Report 5 is SOLD! Thanks, Shrevvy! Sorry, I don't have any information on how to read the code. I've had maybe ten or twelve POP books over the years,. a bottom feeder like me runs into them occasionally, and unless you know what you're looking for they just look like another taped up mess. grebal
catrick339
Here's an odd duck. The Birds Eye Puzzle Fun Book 1961 giveaway, and note the name in the Birds Eye logo. Not FROZEN foods, but FROSTED foods. Dated 1961, it's you average fun little giveaway, with puzzles, and games, and cartoons, and comics, and would usually be interesting to giveaway collectors, and folks who like esoterica. Here's the odd bit. Inside the back cover, below the crossword, reads the following: PRODUCED BY TIMELY ILLUSTRATED FEATURES I believe this must be the last Timely book ever published. If I had to guess, I'd say that Martin Goodman used the name one last time to preserve his copyright or trademark. Like I said, an odd duck. Lower spine is split to staple, upper spine is split about halfway to staple, chips out here and there, general wear, and the crossword inside the BC is filled in with pencil. 16 pages, tight on the staples, offwhite pages. Not listed in Overstreet. Asking $25 on the strength of the Timely announcement. porcupine48 and Larryw7
