You guys do realize that this contest is going to greatly reduce future participation in PGM . I now know I am not worth to offer an opinion. I would only be doing the poster a disservice

not necessarily as if you look at the chart with the grades and how many guess where at those grades it shows that most guess fall relatively close to the actual grade.

I think I post some variation of this every year we do these contests:

** Don't beat yourself up if you get -1s or 1s each round. **

-- A lot of posters here are super-crazy-knowledgeable about CGC's standards, especially if they are constantly submitting books.

-- With 100+ people (!) in the contest, being in the middle or even at the end of the pack is no indication of your grading skills.

-- Sometimes you are taking your best shot at guessing CGC's standards for an odd combo of defects vs. what you might give it personally.

-- If you are selling a raw Wings #88 that you call a 4.5 with a back cover edge that looks like it was gnawed by beavers, I'll buy it and we'll have a delightful transaction. If you call it a 6.0 and I receive it and see that back cover edge I will return it.

(OK, I guess that last one is new.)

Grades sent. I was close to a negative score at this point last year, so a score of 3 out of 4 Bulls-eyes is quite the improvement for me.
