Popular Post MGsimba77
In 1899 motion pictures were just getting underway, Teddy Roosevelt wasn't even president yet there were 45 states the Spanish American war just ended. Reminds me of a friend of my dad's who we visited when I was a kid. Dude literally had a walk in sized closet full of civil war memorabilia including paper and coin currency, flags, uniforms a few swords all kinds of stuff Another question besides the first ever graded is oldest ever graded by cgc? sagii, BigDaddy1, ADAMANTIUM and 2 others

Popular Post Jaylam
A little late to the party, but I have determined this is my oldest slabbed book, beating out my 'Tec #96 by one month. I have always appreciated the original concept of Mr. Mxyztplk as a good foil for Superman. Not necessarily evil, but a real headache and trouble maker for 'ol Supes and this cover tells it all by the look on Superman's face. 1950's war comics, BigDaddy1, badback83 and 5 others

An 1862 issue of Vanity Fair has been CGC graded, but I doubt if it is similar to what we call a "comic book". Oliver Optic's Magazine (1869) has illustrations and was for children, so it's probably closer to a slabbed "comic book". Popular Post Summydad1
1964. Not super old. Hopefully I can pick up some GA cap one day to become my oldest slabbed book. This one will be replaced soon whenever I get an Avengers 4. FoggyNelson, 1950's war comics, badback83 and 3 others
