This guy had a #1, probably between a 7.0 and 8.0, but I only got a glance at it in the bag. He insisted on keeping it to slab. So I don't have one to offer, but #'s 2 and 3 are up next....

No luck, Mike. But the guy had an extensive collection and wouldn't part with them all … yet... He wanted to hang onto military covers especially, so there may be parachutes, but not among those I was able to get him to part with. These things are a hoot; read and release for me or they could be their own rabbit hole just like comics.

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall condition of these mags when I got them, but the 10 and 14 were definitely outliers to the good. High-grade mags kinda stun me; cognitive dissonance kicks in when I see them. I just keep looking for flaws, but both have as few or fewer than 9.4 comic slabs I have.

yeah those were a couple of pretty perfect looking copies. I'd imagine it'd be really tough to find better. Nice grabs!
