Gorgeous #31 :cloud9:

How much might this beaut be destined to go for gentlemen?

4.5 Tec 31 will easily be $22.5k-$25k.

That makes me ask: How should Tec31 books be able to explode in 2011. They have already exploded - thats obvious with these price levels.

actually, so few copies have come to market of late, that we haven't seen anything other than a "sell more than last time" type pricing... I think with public availability and pressure to bid, prices will increase 20% more...I know I will be asking that, as I am paying more for the same copies than I sold them for just in the last year...too much demand, and no readily available supply

Also coming up in the Feb Heritage Auction, another Tec #31.

Tec25.jpg

Ahh the Detroit Trolley copy.. I'm wondering why the consigner has this book up on auction already. This was bought not too long ago at CC

yah, 2.5 that could have been had for $5500 in 2005 on eBay...

Well, that was a bargain  Wish I knew about it then lol

Nice 4.5, but honestly, I prefer my 4.0 :cloud9: The whites on mine are cleaner and overall has a nicer appearance

extremely clean and bright...why the 4.0 grade you think Brian?

The only defects I could see of the book are the top and bottom spine splits. if it weren't for that, probably would grade around an 8.0-8.5.. Or I can have the splits sealed hm ...

exactly...if you are going to take a market accepted 20-25K book and turn it into a 10-12K market accepted book (didn't say it was logical, just what that market bears), then go ahead lol
