Was this the 4.0 at NYCC Rick?

nope, that sold summer, if I recall...

I only had 4 at NYCC, and one of them sold, so down to 3 (one I am keeping, the other 2 will be sold on ebay this month)

is that the 5 billionth copy printed/sold by you in the last year? :insane:

Thanks Gator, comicdonna, thedude. Yes, I bought it early summer. I was very fortunate to pick this 4.0 over the other 4.0 that Rick had. I know it's not scarce as the early Sup covers, but I will be holding on to this copy for a very long time.

Great book, Mike. What grade do you think it is. Looks like a fantastic copy. Wouldn't mind owning it myself. Congrats!

My guess is between 6.0 and 7.0 Cream to Off White Moderate Professional restoration with all the all the work accompanying such. Trimming? The 'S' in Shuster is the most telling. The person I bought it from says she purchased it a couple of years ago at a lawn sale. That was some lawn sale!

Thanks Jeff and Steve. I have always wanted this issue. One doesn't come up at the right time all that often. I remember placing a bid on one a few years ago thinking I would surely win it. Boy, was I wrong.

There are 2 reasons why I love this copy. First, of the 88 copies that CGC has graded, only 8 have white pages, and three of those were lightened. So, this is one of only 5 copies with naturally white pages.

 

Second, the single piece added was to the bottom right corner of page one. There are no pieces added to the front or back cover. It's all original. :cloud9:
