I am always amazed on the transparency effect the micro-chamber paper gives to a cover when placed in the book. Much better look without it!

Is that what causes that?  I wondered if that was a result of pressing.

I decided recently to get back into comics. I wanted to go back and get a run of Cap in Tales of suspense. It's been a few months and I am about halfway there. I have somehow wound up with 3 each of 59 and 60. I have since taken better care to not just buy a 59 because I see it and make notes of the other ones I buy, My only other dupe is 95.

I picked this up at a con quite a few years ago. Nothing special grade-wise but I think this is one of the better later covers in the series.

The Rules of Silver Age Marvel villains say that bad guys must wear secondary colors: green, purple and orange. They come up with The Mandarin. 

Do you think they made a conscious decision to avoid orange?

Do you, like I do, wonder why my head works this way?

Their heads may work that way too...nobody probably wanted the 'mandarin orange' joke in anyone's heads, so they stuck to other villain colors.
