Weird Tales, Jun 1938

Brundage cover, one of her best.

The cover depicts Suicide Chapel, a Jules de Grandin story by Seabury Quinn.  There's also a H.P. Lovecraft story, The Doom That Came to Sarnath.

My personal favorite weird tales in the collection

I'm pretty sure the St. John original still exists.  I read a story once where Jack Williamson said he visited the Weird Tales offices and Farnsworth Wright offered him the painting.  He turned it down because he felt he had no place to put it, and regretted it.
