I know JSC's work has saturated the market place and is starting to all look the same, but I'll never get sick of his MJ's.

100% agree. His version of Black Cat is my favorite. No matter how much of his work is out there, talent is talent.

I love comics with girls on the cover. I particularly love harder to find or rarer variants with girls on the cover. I prefer good girl covers. Without sounding too spiritual I think being able to draw really well is a God-given talent. Also, I think Gods most beautiful creation is the female form.

I don't think anyone ever accused Cherry Poptart of being a good girl, but Welz can definitely draw the female form!

I don't like porno covers and I'm the one with poor taste? lol

I just think you are bringing zero to a thread that you clearly are not interested in, are just trolling (possibly someone's sock puppet given your join date and no profile image), and should stop posting in it.

Artgerm is better than Frazetta! Change my mind...

He’s not in my opinion. Frazetta is an icon. Artgerm is talented and produces some awesome covers, especially Vampirella. Artgerm covers are eye catching and pleasant to look at. This is all my opinion of course. Like whatever you want. It wouldn't bother me if you started a thread that proclaimed Liefeld was better than Frazetta. I don't know enough about art to argue minutia or technique. I just know what looks good to me.

This thread seems to be getting derailed by arguments over who is a better artist.

Art is in the eye of the beholder.  There are books that I like that perhaps others may not (I like that because less demand helps keep prices down).  There are many other books in which I seem to have the "same eye" as many other collectors.   Either way, I thought this thread was about showcasing books which showcase woman, not an argument about who can draw better than the next guy.  :tonofbricks:

Either way, I was considering posting, however, @Robot Man has really stolen the show with a PL17, followed up by that Giant Comic Edition 12 (really would like a copy of that book).  Well done, Bob.  Your taste is impeccable (Matt Baker sure could draw).  :golfclap:
