I’m sure my first Kirby would have been a random Eternals or Captain America comic.

I love Kirby but find his Blank Panther or CA art circa 1977 absolutely jarring to look at. :sorry:

I’ll head back over to the SA forum where amazing Kirby art lives before I’m thrown out.

It's also my favorite.  I owned a reprint of it when I was a kid, first learning how to read.  It's in one of these Fireside books.  They also reprinted FF #26, but they did not include the cover.

Same for me.  In the 70s I owned the reprint of the two part story in a Treasury Edition.

Great book.

Contains 'The Last Enemy', considered a Kamandi prototype.

Omg also has Mobius chair Metron first cameo prototype appearance!!

I guess I’m the only one around here that likes 1970’s Kirby

Wouldn’t say that.

There’s a lot I like; Fourth World, Kamandi, Demon, Eternals.

There’s also Devil Dinosaur, which is quite insane.

Everyone hates OMAC I think.

One of the few 70s Kirby comics I’ve never read, despite it being a very short series.
