I considered KA for 2010, but I really like Iron Man 2 overall, despite the villain(s) being meh.

:whatthe: Over The Avengers!?!?!?!?!?!? Wow.

Yes, Dark Knight Rises with all its warts over The Avengers. DKR has a lot of issues that bug me but I still enjoyed it over the video game-like Avengers fighting the swarm of enemies. The first Avengers was just fun to me.

Any movie would be better then the X-Mess movie.  The actors were fine, especially Jackman and Stewart, but the movie itself was terrible.

Love Kick- and Kingsman. Though with the former the sequel was weak, unfortunately.

I'll take Spider-man 2 over the Thomas Jane Punisher for 2004

Agree on Spider-Man 2 over Punisher for 2004.

(I've said this before - as much as I enjoy The Punisher and have re-watched it several times, Tony Scott took the same premise and delivered a 10x better movie a few weeks later with his Man on Fire remake with Denzel Washington.)

And I'd actually put Blade II over Spider-Man for 2002.

As exciting as it was to finally see a big-budget, big-screen Spider-Man film, Blade II is a g--d--- masterpiece!

Also, I really wanted to rank A History of Violence, but no way was it better than Batman Begins.

nonsense! the first great superhero film that started the entire genre on its path. spiderman could never have been made without xmen and its success. of course i'm sure you hate spiderman (2002) as well.

2015: Antman! about a thousand times better than age of ultron, which was quite boring compared to the other avengers films. antman was a refreshing change of tone and well written.

spiderverse would have displaced many of these picks. too bad it came out in 2018.

I concur.  One that’s in my top ten along with Hellboy 2.
