You may have lumped this one in with the Wizard World editions... there was an Emerald City Comic con edition of #1 in 2014, but that was not a Wizard World show.  The print run would have been huge on the regular version (I think I've got 3 or 4 copies still), but there was also a B&W variant that was for purchase, not a giveaway.  Not sure what the print run on that was.

Hi @OtherEric

Thank you for your message and your contribution. Yes, the WW Cons were in 2013 and 2015. They produced a total of 60 TWD #1 comics (2013 = 9 colour and 5 sketch; 2015 = 23 colour and 23 sketch).

Between those years, there were 2 other Cons (Amazing Arizona and as you say Emerald City). Each of those produced a colour and a sketch cover of TWD #1.

I have the 2013 and 2015 editions in the list above (though I do not know the numbers issued, except the 2013 Portland Second Printing at 250).

I will add place markers for the 2014 editions. If you every discover the print runs, we'd be pleased to hear from you again.

Kind regards

Stephen

Just picked these up but can’t find much information about them online. Any help?

The Chopshop Journal are a NYCC 2013 giveaway for people that went through the Walking Dead Zombie House.

The Owner's Manual was given out at SDCC 2012 and limited to around 500 copies. The Hyundai Undead program celebrated the release of WD #100.

I know some of this complementary stuff is out there, and as a fan of all things TWD, I think it’s super cool.  Congrats!

My favorite Walking Dead rarity is from way before there was a big fan base.  Anyone can create "extreme limited editions" after there's a big market, but the hardest to find books from back when no one was looking are more interesting in my opinion.

Totally agree!  I do like some of the variants but the follow up printings (especially during the early years) are what I like to collect.  116 third print (even though printed when the series was hot) fits into this category as well.
